Karim Jabr, CCP, LP, CSSBB, is a highly experienced clinical perfusionist with an impressive 39-year background in the field. He holds a physiology degree from Stow College in Glasgow, Scotland, and a perfusion diploma from the Michener Institute of Medical Science in Toronto, Canada. Karim is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare, awarded by the Institute of Industrial and System Engineers in Norcross, Georgia, which demonstrates his expertise in medical quality improvement.
As an Advisory Board member for ERAS Cardiac Surgery, Jabr aims to optimize perioperative care for cardiac surgical patients through collaborative efforts in discovery, analysis, and best practices. He serves as a Clinical Instructor for the MS Cardiovascular Perfusion Program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, as well as the MS Cardiovascular Perfusionist Program at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
